Dude and the Dog?
I thought it would be a great name for a gastro-pub. I’m not ready for that yet, but it doesn’t mean I can’t start planning for it.
Who is the dude in the title?
I do not go by “the dude” – that title belongs to Jeff Bridges in the Big Lebowski. No, I am just an average guy but “Dude” aliterates well with “and the Dog”.
I am a middle aged, expat Aussie living in the US corn belt. After many years in information technology, and taking time out to pursue a PhD in Information Science, it is time to follow my passion instead of taking the easy path. I’m not sure where this will take me, but that’s part fo the adventure.
So who is the dog?
The dog is Pepper. She is a 11 year old Shi Tzu and my cooking and work buddy. She isn’t much help in the kitchen, but it big on quality control.
